"Single Flower", from the Canary Islands, forms dense, dainty cushions of small, 1cm to 2cm globose, pale green rosettes on damp rocks. Flowers are very small (1cm dia.) yellowish in colour, beautifully formed, and intricate (use a hand lens and compare them with M. muralis from Gomera Island). Plants are common on
Gran Canaria, Tenerife and La Palma islands, usually in shade up to 700m altitude. It is an attractive miniature, challenging plant when well grown.
